New Supercharger in Thunder Bay Ontario ready for power

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is staying true to his word, with yet another Supercharger ready to come online in Canada, this time in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Construction at the 6 stall Supercharger was recently completed with the cabinets being installed late last week. Now the wait begins for the switch to be turned on by the local utility company. Once turned on, these will be Tesla’s latest V3 Superchargers, capable of charging at up to 250kW. Model 3’s in the area will also be able to take advantage of their new 170kW peak charging that is part of the latest software update.

The Supercharger is located at 1221 Arthur St W in Thunder Bay. TMC User ctrystruha posted these photos of the Supercharger.

Other recent Superchargers ready for power or that have opened include Superchargers in Kenora ON, Whitewood SK and White River ON waiting for power, Woodstock NB, Salisbury NB, Saint John NB, and Regina SK now open, with another two in Medicine Hat AB and Richmond BC nearing completion.
