Hyundai is offering a limited-time promotion that includes a free ChargePoint Level 2 charger for those who purchase or lease an Ioniq or Kona EV, but only in the United States.
The promotion will see anyone who purchases or leases an eligible Hyundai EV receive a coupon to cover the cost of a ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 EV charger. Along with the charger, clients will also get an installation credit of up to $600. In total, the promotion is worth up to $1149.
The following vehicles are eligible for the limited-time promotion:
- 2023 Ioniq 5
- 2024 Ioniq 5
- 2023 Ioniq 6
- 2024 Ioniq 6
- 2023 Kona Electric
Clients who take advantage of this offer will have 90 days to register the coupon code on Hyundai’s online Marketplace once they receive it. Once that is done, an Energy Advisor at Hyundai Home will walk the client through the charger installation process, which includes finding a local installer and dealing with any permits, if necessary.
The promotion is running from September 21 to October 31, 2023. Hyundai Canada has confirmed with Drive Tesla that there is currently no plan to run a similar promo in Canada.
