A couple in Warendorf, Germany, took delivery of Ford’s 50,000th Ford Mustang Mach-E earlier this week.
The young couple took possession of the Mustang Mach-E at the Ford-Autohaus Ebbert GmbH dealership in Gutersloh in northwest Germany.
The vehicle they chose was a Mustang Mach-E GT in Absolute Black.
Patrick Schenzler, Ford’s Director of Passenger Cars for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, was on hand and had this to say:
Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Can, for choosing the Mustang Mach-E and thus not only a beautiful, but also a practical electric car. For us as a company, but also for our Ford dealerships, the delivery of the 50,000th Mustang Mach-E is a milestone on our common path to an electrified future.
It is a massive milestone for Ford as they continue to push forward to electrify its lineup. With the Mach-E surpassing 50,000, it is only a matter of time until the F-150 Lightning hits 50,000 as well, which does bode well for the automaker as they continue to push sales in Europe and North America.
It was also fitting that the delivery happened in Germany, which is Ford’s second-biggest market in Europe and quickly catching up to Norway in terms of overall Mustang Mach-E sales.
