Elon Musk and X may file a defamation lawsuit against the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). The organization has a dubious history of existence, where it has been seen in espionage, slander, seeking to silence those who disagree with its views or challenge its political interests.
Elon Musk said on Monday that X could sue the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). The platform owner accused ADL of “trying to kill this platform by falsely accusing it & me of being anti-Semitic.” This comes after the organization reported an upsurge in hate speech on X following the recovery of previously banned accounts there. In addition, it required blocking or hard limiting the visibility of some accounts.
The ADL published a report in May that featured over 5,000 examples from February of “virulent antisemitism from 2,173 accounts” on X (formerly called Twitter). This happened after some of the accounts the ADL had accused were restored. Musk said the organization is running a campaign to put pressure on advertisers not to return to X. At the same time, it threatened and forced them to actually suspend cooperation with the platform.
If this continues, we will have no choice but to file a defamation suit against, ironically, the “Anti-Defamation” League.
If they lose the defamation suit, we will insist that they drop the the “anti” part of their name, since obviously … 😂

The ADL has been infamous for many years. Malcolm Flex wrote some well-known facts about the organization questioning its activities in a post on X. He pointed out that the ADL was caught using espionage to obtain personal information from third parties and use it against them.
In 2001, the organization opposed a Congressional resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide as a historical fact. The ADL argued that the resolution would harm US-Turkish relations and jeopardize Israel’s security. This stance sparked outrage from many Armenian Americans, human rights groups, and Jewish organizations, who accused the ADL of hypocrisy and denial.
In 2017, the ADL released a report erroneously listing several individuals and groups that it claimed were associated with the “white supremacist movement.” The organization unfairly persecuted them for expressing political views that differed from theirs. The publication of the report was followed by several lawsuits.
Now the ADL accuses Elon Musk and X of anti-Semitism. It is worth noting that under the cover of this accusation, the organization is trying to block the account of ‘LibsofTikTok’ run by an orthodox Jewish woman, Chaya Raichik. Given this, it remains unclear the real motives of the ADL, which is persecuting a Jewish woman under the slogan of anti-Semitism.
