Celebrate the opening of the Hope Supercharger with the Tesla Owners Club of B.C. [July 24, 2021]

The official Tesla Owners Club of British Columbia will be holding a special event this weekend to celebrate the opening of the Hope Tesla Supercharger.

Scheduled for 11:00am on Saturday, July 24, 2021, the event will take place at the new Superchargers at the Silver Creek Esso Travel Centre on Klassen Road, just off the Trans Canada Highway.

The Silver Hope Travel Center has generously offered up their conference room for attendees to gather and can provide snacks and drinks by request.

The original plan for the event called for a scenic drive to the Superchargers in Princeton, BC that opened last December. Unfortunately due to ongoing construction in Princeton that results in increased traffic in the area, the drive has been postponed until a later date.

Instead, owners will be encouraged to tour the beautiful town of Hope and visit the local beaches, lakes, rivers, historic train tunnels are more. If you really want to go for a drive, you can also take a detour to nearby (71km) Manning Park.

You can RSVP for the event here.

If you attend the event, be sure to share some photos on Twitter and tag @DriveTeslaca. You can also join the official Tesla Owners Club of B.C. Facebook page here.
