2024 Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV starts at $179,990 in the US

Mercedes-Benz USA has announced pricing for the 2024 Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV, and as expected it won’t be cheap. This opulent electric SUV starts at $179,990, but with options will quickly top $200,000

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is powered by a potent 649-horsepower dual-motor powertrain that propels the electric SUV from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, with a governed top speed of 130 mph (209km/h). The vehicle boasts an impressive driving range, rated at approximately 373 miles (600km), but this estimate is based on the more generous WLTP cycle. While the official EPA figures are still pending, it’s safe to assume the EQS 680 SUV will likely get closer to 300 miles (482km) in real-world driving.

As expected with the Maybach name, the EQS 680 SUV has more than enough luxury and technology. The standard configuration includes an air suspension setup with continuously adjustable damping, a Burmester 4D Surround sound system with 15 speakers and Dolby Atmos, and a futuristic 56-inch Hyperscreen control interface, combining multiple screens into a single unit.

Buyers can further enhance their Maybach with the optional Executive Rear Seat Package. This package replaces the standard five-seat layout with a four-seat arrangement, offering reclining seats covered in diamond-quilted stitched leather. It includes heated and cooled cupholders, heated armrests, and even an in-cabin fragrance dispenser.

If that’s not enough for you, Mercedes offers the Maybach Night Series Design Package. This package, priced at $25,000, adds unique 21-inch wheels, walnut wood trim with a herringbone pattern, nappa leather, rose gold accents in the headlights, and other upscale details.

Pricing for Canada has not yet been announced.
