Tire Rack released Tesla Model Y tire sizes confirming staggered setup for Performance version

It looks like TireRack.com may have jumped the gun, as they now have both the Long Range (LR) and Performance versions of the unreleased Tesla Model Y on their website.

Tire Rack, which has been in business for 40 years, shows the LR Model Y will not have a staggered setup for either the 19″ or 20″ wheel options.

The benefits of a staggered wheel setup on car like the Performance Model Y will be seen with better weight distribution, resulting in better balance, as well as a lower center of gravity which will further improve what will already be impressive handling.

After announcing the first deliveries of the Model Y will occur in March 2020 in the US (mid-2020 in Canada), the LR RWD version of the Model Y disappeared from the Tesla Design Studio. Now just the LR AWD and Performance models are available for purchase, starting at $72,390 CAD and $84,390 CAD.
