Tesla has added a new accessory for the Model Y, one which at first glance seems a little redundant but could prove helpful for some owners.
Now available on the Tesla Shop are Model Y Trunk Storage Bins. The bins fit in the storage cavities to the left and right of the trunk.
They are already storage areas, but these bins keep the carpeted trunk area clean by turning them into waterproof storage areas.
They also add to the floor space and cargo area of the trunk by also coming with carpeted lids.
The new accessory isn’t cheap though, priced at $110 CAD or $85 USD. It is also only available for Model Y’s in a 5-seat configuration
