Tesla shut down the Model X production line in Fremont all the way back in December 2020.
Deliveries of the flagship SUV restarted in the US in October 2021, but there have been no deliveries of the refresh design in Canada in nearly one and a half years.
That drought appears as though it will be over soon as the first refresh Model X SUVs destined for customer deliveries have started arriving north of the border.
Earlier today a car carrier was spotted travelling eastbound along Hwy 401 outside of Toronto loaded with three Model X Plaid SUVs.
According to the photos, taken by u/GMScreech, the cars feature the new Plaid badge along with the redesigned charge port door.
With the cars just arriving this weekend, we should hear of the first deliveries taking place this early next week.
This isn’t the first time we have seen the refresh Model X in Canada. Several were spotted last year in Alberta and Ontario during winter testing.
