Tesla increases Model 3 referral discount by 50% in the US

Tesla has made one more change to the referral program in the United States. With just a few weeks left to go in the year, the company has increased the referral discount on the popular electric sedan by 50%.

Unfortunately, even with this change in the US, the Model 3 was removed from the program earlier this year, and is still not eligible for referral discounts.

In late November Tesla doubled its referral benefits, giving buyers US$1,000 off on a Model 3/Y, and US$2,000 off the purchase price of a Model S/X. At the same time, existing owners would receive US$1,000 in Tesla Credits, up from the previous US$500.

In an effort to boost sales even further before the end of the year, Tesla has now increased the referral discount on the Model 3 from US$1,000 to US$1,500. This applies both the new buyers, but also existing owners purchasing a Model 3, referred to as the Loyalty discount. If you are considering buying, you can use our referral link, which works for buyers anywhere in the world the referral program is offered.

The increased benefit was announced through a post from the official Tesla North America account on X. There has been no change in the amount of Tesla Credits earned by owners on a successful referral.

Don’t forget, all you need to do is place your order by December 31, 2024 to receive these discounts, as the benefits are tied to the order date, not the delivery date. Referral discounts are also applicable on inventory vehicles, which you can browse here.
