It appears as though Tesla is set to start delivering a new wheel option for the California’s automaker’s most popular EV, the Model 3. A photo has surfaced online showing a transport truck full of Model 3s with a new, black Sport (or Turbine) wheel.
If you look closely, based on the size and shape of the license plate frames on trunk lids, it appears as though these Model 3s are not bound for the North American market, and most likely heading abroad, possibly to Europe.
These new black wheels do not appear on Tesla’s online configurator, so it’s unknown at this point when these will be available, and for which markets. This is surprising given these vehicles appear to be on the way to somewhere for delivery. One thing is for sure, many people will upgrade to these new wheels as they look great on the Model 3.
