Tesla has officially announced the launch of the Cybertruck in South Korea, marking the first international expansion of the electric pickup truck.
Announced by Tesla Korea, the automaker outlined a two-phase rollout for orders:
August 29 – September 4, 2025: Reservation holders can log in to their Tesla account to confirm their orders. September 5, 2025 onward: New Cybertruck orders officially open to the general public.
The automaker cautioned that if existing reservation holders fail to confirm within the one-week window, their original reservation date will not be honoured, meaning they could lose priority in the delivery queue.
Tesla will launch two trims of the Cybertruck in South Korea, both priced in Korean won (₩) with equivalents in Canadian dollars (CAD) and U.S. dollars (USD):
- Cybertruck AWD: ₩145,000,000 (C$142,000/US$104,000)
- Cybertruck Cyberbeast: ₩160,000,000 (C$156,500/US$115,000)
These prices place the Cybertruck in the premium EV segment of Korea’s market, aligning it with high-end imports and luxury SUVs.
In its announcement, Tesla described the Cybertruck’s launch as “opening a new horizon of innovation and style,” positioning the vehicle not just as a mode of transport, but as a statement of cutting-edge design and capability. The company emphasized that this is the beginning of a “bold journey” for Korean customers.
While Tesla has not yet revealed exact delivery dates for Korean customers, the official order schedule ensures that both early reservation holders and new buyers will soon be behind the squircle of the Cybertruck.
