The steel beast will be auctioned at the 29th Petersen Gala, which will take place in one week. The Automotive Museum announced via email that the winner of the auction will become one of the first Cybertruck owners in the world.

The event will take place October 7, 2023, 6PM – 10PM. A seat at the event costs $1,750, a table costs $17,500, and a Premier Table costs $30,000. The evening will be hosted by Jay Leno, the legendary host of NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He is one of the first people, outside Tesla, who had the opportunity to see and even get a test drive of an early Cybertruck.
