Tesla planning 20-stall Supercharger in Toronto [Ontario]

Tesla is continuously working to expand its charging infrastructure across Canada, and the latest plans show Tesla wants to build a 20-stall Supercharger in Toronto, Ontario.

According to a zoning application submitted by Tesla in September last year, but only recently uncovered by Supercharger project tracker Marco, the upcoming location is slated for the Lawrence Allen Centre, one of the city’s 20 largest shopping malls.

The planned 20-stall site, located directly off Allen Road at the Lawrence Avenue West exit, will be located at the north end of the parking lot, according to the application.

This new Supercharger site will be a valuable addition for Tesla owners in Toronto, addressing a key need for fast, reliable charging in one of Canada’s largest cities. The Lawrence Allen Centre location offers easy access for drivers traveling through uptown Toronto.

Tesla does have this location listed as an “in development” site on their map of upcoming Supercharger locations, but the map no longer indicates targeted opening dates.

This isn’t the only location in Toronto that Tesla is planning to build a large new Supercharger. As we told you about last month, Tesla is intending to build a 28-stall Supercharger at the Stock Yards Village Shopping Mall at 1970 St Clair Ave W.
