With the start of a new quarter Tesla has announced the winning locations in their Q2 2023 Supercharger voting session. Tesla launched these voting sessions last year giving owners the opportunity to help decide where future Supercharger stations should be located.
Spring 2023 Winners
For the first time a Canadian location has not only made it into the top 5 locations in North America, but it also took the top spot. On the final day of voting Gatineau, Quebec held a slim +- 50 vote lead over Lakewood, New Jersey, and after all the votes were tallied Gatineau remained on top. Despite a valiant effort from Quebec Tesla owners, Ange-Gardien was unable to crack into the top 5 locations, likely finishing in the 8th spot as it was on the final day of voting.
The other North American winners were all in the US – Brick Township, New Jersey, Bryce Canyon City, Utah, Park City, Utah, and Cherokee, North Carolina.
All of these locations have already been added to Tesla’s map of upcoming Supercharger locations with targeted opening dates of 2024.

Summer 2023 Supercharger Voting
Publishing the list of winners also means a new round of voting has started. As before Tesla account holders can vote up to five times during each 3-month voting cycle, but only one vote can be used per location to prevent vote stacking. You can also submit location ideas for the next round of voting.
In Canada there are several locations in B.C., Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia. There are even a couple of in the Northwest Territories (Whitehorse and Watson Lake), but unfortunately nothing in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
