Tesla obtains approval to build Supercharger in Brooks, Alberta

A new Tesla Supercharger is coming soon to the roadside city of Brooks, Alberta.

Last week, Tesla was granted a permit to build an 8-stall Supercharging station in the Wendy’s parking lot on 2 Street West.

Located almost halfway between Strathmore and Medicine Hat, Brooks was originally thought to be the host city during Tesla’s Trans-Canada Supercharger sweep in 2019. However, the chargers ended up being installed in Bassano, about 50 kilometres west.
