Lucid Motors is bringing the Lucid Air Grand Touring to Kelowna, British Columbia, this holiday weekend.
The test drives will take place on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at various times.
Lucid will use the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort base for test drives.
In addition, the Lucid Air Grand Touring will feature in the Okanagan Dream Rally, taking place on July 30.
The Okanagan Dream Rally is an annual fundraiser that sees luxury and exotic sports cars drive from Kelowna to Penticton, all for a good cause.
The fundraiser supports Ronald McDonald House Charities and KGH (Kelowna General Hospital) Foundation.
Each vehicle has a child co-pilot who gets to take in the day from one of the over 200 vehicles.
The pop-up ride and drive event will be similar to last week’s one hosted in Victoria.
The Lucid Air Grand Touring is the variant below the Dream Edition but has some impressive specs.
The vehicle can do 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds and packs 819 horsepower on board. With a range of 830 km, the Lucid Air Grand Touring is one of the better ranges in the North American market.
The Grand Touring Performance also has the same range but a 1,050 HP engine with a 0-60mph time of 2.6 seconds.
After a recent price hike, the Lucid Air Grand Touring starts at $212,500 CAD. In comparison, the Grand Touring Performance starts at $244,500 CAD.
