The Nissan Ariya finally received its official pricing in the US, and it comes in under $48,000. However, Nissan is only releasing a few select vehicle trims and will release additional variations later in 2023.
The entry-level model Ariya is the front-wheel-drive Venture+. This model starts at $47,950 USD (~$60,300 CAD) and includes a 482km (300 mile) range, the longest of any Ariya trims.
The vehicle has a single electric motor powered by a liquid-cooled 87-kWh battery pack.
The Venture+ comes standard with LED lighting, 19-inch wheels, ProPilot Assist adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring, along with other features.
The mid-level model is the Evolve+. The vehicle has the same powertrain as the Venture+ but has a range of 458km (284 miles).
This model is also more expensive, coming in at $50,125 USD (~$63,100 CAD).
The features you are paying for include a panoramic sunroof, power hatch, fog lights, automatic wipers, rear-view mirror screen, power front seats and a wireless phone charging capability.
Next, the Premier model starts at $54,625 USD (~$68,700 CAD) and has the same range and power specs as the Evolve+. However, this model gets ProPilot Assist 2.0 driving system, unique wheel colours and illuminated side sills.
Finally, the Platinum+ e-4orce is the top-of-the-line model coming in at $60,125 USD (~$75,700 CAD). This model has a dual-motor and an all-wheel-drive powertrain.
However, the range is lower at 426km (264 miles). This model has all the bells and whistles, including Nappa leather seats and a Bose 10-speaker sound system.
No word on exact delivery dates or Canadian pricing yet, but Nissan noted the front-wheel-drive models would arrive in the fall of 2022.
