Tesla is continuing to build out its presence in Saudi Arabia, opening a new facility in Jeddah less than a year after officially entering the market.
The newly opened Tesla Centre in Jeddah marks the company’s second location in Saudi Arabia, following the debut of its Riyadh site in mid-2025. The automaker first launched operations in the country on April 10, 2025, with a high-profile event in Riyadh that introduced its lineup and online ordering platform to local customers.
Since then, Tesla has steadily expanded its infrastructure, with the Jeddah location providing both sales and service support, as well as customer test drives for its two best-selling vehicles, the Model 3 and Model Y. The facility also showcases Tesla’s broader ecosystem, including its charging solutions, safety technologies, and artificial intelligence initiatives.
The expansion comes as Saudi Arabia accelerates efforts to diversify its economy under its Vision 2030 strategy, which includes a strong focus on sustainability and electrification. Tesla’s arrival adds to a growing EV ecosystem in the country, which has already attracted investment from other automakers, including Lucid, which established a local manufacturing presence in 2023.
Tesla’s charging network is also beginning to take shape in the region. The company currently operates six Supercharger stations across multiple cities, but according to Tesla’s regional director in Saudi Arabia, the company is planning a significant expansion of its charging infrastructure across the country in the coming years.
The roadmap includes the development of four Supercharger stations in the Eastern Province, six in Riyadh, and nine in Jeddah, pointing to a coordinated effort to support growing EV adoption and improve long-distance travel reliability for Tesla owners throughout the Kingdom.

In addition to physical locations, Tesla is introducing its full suite of ownership features in Saudi Arabia, including mobile service capabilities, enabling maintenance and repairs at a customer’s home or workplace.
The company’s expansion into Saudi Arabia is part of a broader global strategy to enter new and emerging markets. Over the past year, Tesla has also made moves into regions such as South America and Southeast Asia, with launches in countries like Chile and the Philippines.
