Tesla has once again activated free Supercharging, this time across parts of the Middle East. The automaker confirmed that free Supercharging will be available starting at midnight local time at select stations in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Qatar.

The decision to open up free Supercharging follows recent geopolitical developments and is aimed at supporting Tesla owners during a period of uncertainty, where mobility and access to infrastructure can become more challenging.

According to Tesla, the temporary policy applies to a wide network of Supercharger stations, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha. In Saudi Arabia alone, sites in Dammam, Riyadh, Taif, and multiple locations across Jeddah are included.

In the UAE, coverage is even broader, spanning high-traffic areas such as Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Yas Mall, Al Maryah Island, and several intercity routes like Jebel Ali. Qatar’s Doha Festival City Supercharger is also part of the initiative.

By enabling free charging at these locations, Tesla is ensuring drivers can continue to travel without worrying about charging costs during a potentially volatile situation.

This is far from the first time Tesla has waived Supercharging fees in response to emergencies. The company has a well-established track record of offering free charging during natural disasters, extreme weather events, and humanitarian crises.

In North America, Tesla has frequently enabled free Supercharging ahead of major hurricanes in the United States, helping residents evacuate safely. Similar measures have been implemented during wildfires in California, where evacuation routes rely heavily on accessible charging infrastructure.

In Europe, Tesla has also provided free Supercharging during periods of regional disruption, including energy crises and refugee movements, ensuring that drivers retain mobility when it matters most.

While Tesla has not specified how long the free Supercharging period will remain in effect in the Middle East, these programs are typically temporary and tied to evolving conditions on the ground.
