Tesla is giving Canadian buyers another reason to consider the Model 3. For a limited time, anyone who takes delivery of a Model 3 by September 30, 2025 can choose between a $5,000 discount off the purchase price or unlimited free Supercharging for life, making this one of the biggest discounts Tesla has offered in Canada in recent memory.
This latest promotion builds on Tesla’s recent offer that set September 30 as the deadline for free lifetime Supercharging on Model 3 inventory vehicles. Now, buyers have the added flexibility of taking that offer, or a direct $5,000 discount off the purchase price instead.
As with the free lifetime Supercharging offer, this one also applies strictly to new Model 3 inventory, not custom factory orders that are subject to tariffs. That means buyers will need to act quickly to select from the cars currently listed in Tesla’s Canadian inventory website to ensure delivery by the September 30 cutoff passes.
Notably, Tesla says orders will default to $5,000 discount at purchase, so you will need to contact them after placing your order to switch to free Supercharging instead.
For existing owners with Full Self-Driving (FSD) that are looking to upgrade, don’t forget that you can still transfer your software package to your new Model 3 as well.
For many, the $5,000 discount offers immediate financial relief, lowering the upfront cost and potentially stacking with provincial incentives, bringing the price down even further.
Alternatively, unlimited lifetime Supercharging may be able to deliver greater value over time, although this is likely only the case for long-distance commuters or road-trippers who rely heavily on Tesla’s expansive Supercharger network across Canada and the United States, or those without home chargers that rely on the Superchargers exclusively for their charging needs.
