The wave of violence and targeted attacks against Tesla in Canada continue, with the latest incident involving over 80 Tesla vehicles in Hamilton, Ontario.
Hamilton Police Services (HPS) say “upwards of 80 Tesla vehicles” were damaged at Canada’s largest Tesla Service Center located CF Lime Ridge Mall at 999 Upper Wentworth Street. No photos were released but authorities say the damage included deep scratches and punctured tires. Given that this location is not a Delivery Center, it is likely that all of the damaged cars were customer-owned and at the location for service.

Hamilton Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage and are asking the public for any information that might help identify the individuals responsible for this act of mischief.
They encourage witnesses or anyone with information or dashcam footage of the area around the time of the incident to contact the Division 3 Staff Sergeant at 905-546-3886. Additionally, anonymous tips can be provided through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at Crime Stoppers Hamilton.
While this is the largest incident of vandalism involving Tesla vehicles, it’s far from the first. In recent weeks, Teslas have increasingly become targets of vandalism and attacks. One of the most significant incidents occurred in Nanaimo, British Columbia where a Tesla Supercharger station was deliberately set on fire last week.
A similarly shocking event took place in London, Ontario, just a few days later when a Tesla Model S was intentionally set on fire at CF Masonville Mall.
Yesterday climate activists targeted a Tesla store in Montreal, spray painting the facade of the building in a protest against Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
