New Location Selected for the Nakusp Supercharger [British Columbia]

A new location has been selected for the Nakusp Supercharger in the interior of British Columbia.

According to information obtained by Drive Tesla, we can confirm the station is now planned to be built at the Esso station on the north side of town. The address is 1101 Hwy 23.

This update comes more than 2 years after an agreement between the Village of Nakusp and Tesla was first discovered.

The site was first added to Tesla’s list of planned locations in January 2020. Soon after it was revealed the location of the Supercharger would be the local sports complex, although it is assumed talks ceased between the Village and Tesla.

According to Tesla, the Nakusp Supercharger is scheduled to open in Q1 2023.
