Tesla begins construction of Supercharger in Simcoe [Ontario]

Tesla has started construction of a new Supercharger station in Simcoe, Ontario.

The new Supercharger is being built at 142 Queensway East in the parking lot near the Canadian Tire. According to a photo of the construction shared by Chantal Zoard on the Tesla Owners Club of Ontario (via TMC), the station looks like it will feature 8 V3 Superchargers stalls upon completion.

Tesla first added the Simcoe Supercharger to the planned list of locations in early 2021. At the time it was scheduled to open in 2022, before being revised in the Q3 update to a new Q4 2021 opening date.

With construction just starting, Tesla is now estimating the station will open in Q3 2022.
