Tesla is starting to release their first software update for the new year, version 2022.4.
While we have yet to see any owners officially receive the update, Tesla hacker @greentheonly, who frequently gets his hands on the latest updates just before a mass rollout, has shared a sneak peak at the release notes.
According to green, the update has no major new features or enhancements, but will include something for the refresh Model S and Model X (Update: see below), as well as something for Japanese and Korean Tesla owners.
UPDATE 2:24pm PST: Although not included in the actual release, it looks like a new maps update (2021.44-13555) will arrive shortly after installing 2022.4.

2022.4 Release Notes
Regenerative Braking in Autopilot
Autopilot will now use more regenerative braking at low speeds for higher efficiency and an improved driving experience, especially in stop-and-go traffic. Increased use of regenerative braking results in less brake pedal noise and smoother stops.
Contrary to what green said, Not A Tesla App is reporting this feature is available for Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y owners worldwide.
UPDATE 11:55am PST: This has been confirmed by Teslascope to be available on all models.
