Tesla is continuing to expand its Canadian charging network with the start of construction on two new V4 Supercharger stations in Abbotsford, British Columbia and Edmonton, Alberta.
New Abbotsford Supercharger
In Abbotsford, work has begun on a 12-stall V4 Supercharger located in the Dairy Queen parking lot at 34596 Delair Road. The site is ideally positioned just off Highway 1, a critical east-west corridor in southern British Columbia that links Metro Vancouver with the Fraser Valley and the Interior.
For Tesla drivers heading toward Hope and the Coquihalla, or east toward the Okanagan, the new station will provide a convenient charging option before climbing into the mountains.

New Edmonton Supercharger
At the same time, Tesla has broken ground on another 12-stall V4 Supercharger at Clareview Town Centre (13704 42nd Street) in northeast Edmonton in front of Michaels. The design includes 11 back-in stalls and one pull-through stall, the latter specifically useful for Tesla vehicles towing trailers or with bike racks.

V4 Technology Brings More Flexibility
Both the Abbotsford and Edmonton sites are being built with Tesla’s latest V4 hardware, which features longer charging cables and the ability to deliver faster charging speeds, up to 325kW for compatible electric vehicles (EVs). This design not only makes it easier for Tesla vehicles with different port placements but also ensures better compatibility for non-Tesla EVs as the company opens its Supercharger network to other brands.
