Tesla has finally rolled out Full Self-Driving (FSD) for Cybertruck owners in Canada. The arrival of FSD Canadian Cybertrucks follows its US debut in September, and a few weeks after Cybertrucks were delivered in Canada with the feature missing.
The rollout began over the weekend with Tesla’s software version 2024.39.5, which included FSD v12.5.5.3. While a number of Cybertruck owners in Canada reported receiving the update, it has not yet been fully deployed to the entire fleet. All Foundation Series Cybertrucks in Canada come with FSD included.

With the launch of FSD on Saturday night, it didn’t take long for owners to take to the roads to test it out, with positive feedback from Cybertruck owner Dare on X, who noted how much smoother it was with the Cybertruck’s HW4/AI4 computer, compared to his two and a half years using FSD with HW3/AI3.
My first FSD drive in my Cybertruck with FSD V12.5.5.3 – off to Timmies! Thank you to the entire @cybertruck & @Tesla_AI team – the Cybertruck is the absolute best Tesla I’ve owned – thanks @wmorrill3 @siddawa @aelluswamy @elonmusk pic.twitter.com/8nZWlHGkI5

The arrival of FSD for Cybertruck in Canada comes a few weeks after its debut, when it surprisingly arrived north of the border without the feature, even though it had already been out in the US for several months.
Tesla has also introduced Cybertruck demo drive opportunities for prospective buyers at locations across the country, and now with FSD enabled, Canadians will likely also get to experience the self-driving software on the Cybertruck during these demo drives.
