Tesla raises Cyberbeast price by $15,000 in the U.S. with new Luxe Package

Tesla has increased the price of its top-tier Cybertruck, the Cyberbeast, in the United States, by a hefty $15,000. However, the extra cash does translate into some extra goodies, with the automaker now adding the new Luxe Package, making it standard on every Cyberbeast.

The Cyberbeast, Tesla’s most powerful version of the stainless-steel pickup, now starts at US$114,990, up from its previous base of US$99,990. The decision to increase the price of the Cyberbeast, despite the added perks, is an interesting one considering sales of the electric pickup have been well below expectations, largely due to its higher-than-expected prices.

Tesla has kept the rest of the Cybertruck lineup unchanged, with only the Cyberbeast receiving the Luxe Package update and increased pricing. Cybertruck pricing in Canada has also remained unchanged.

What’s Included in the Luxe Package

The Luxe Package, first introduced earlier this week on the Model S and Model X (which themselves saw a US$10,000 price increase), adds several high-value features that Tesla typically offers at extra cost.

  • Full Self-Driving (Supervised): Tesla’s advanced driver-assistance system, which continues to evolve through frequent software updates. (US$8,000 value)
  • Free Lifetime Supercharging: Unlimited access to Tesla’s expansive fast-charging network, a benefit the company largely phased out years ago. (variable value, but could be in the thousands)
  • Four-Year Premium Service Plan: Coverage for scheduled maintenance and common wear items. This includes tire and windshield protection, wheel alignment, tire rotations, wiper blade replacement, front camera cleaning, and HEPA filter replacement. est. US$1,000 value)
  • Free Lifetime Premium Connectivity: Access to features such as real-time traffic visualization, video and music streaming, and internet browsing from the vehicle’s touchscreen. (est. $1,000 value if owned for 10 years)

As you might recall, FSD and lifetime Premium Connectivity were also part of the Foundation Series package. Additionally, lifetime Supercharging was also included for a period of time, making the included service plan the only new incentive on the Cybertruck. The Foundation Series Cyberbeast cost US$119,990, $5,000 more than the new Cyberbeast price, however all of the other Foundation Series accessories are obviously not included.

As we noted above, the decision to increase the price of the most expensive Cybertruck variant is strange considering recent sales figures. While the automaker doesn’t break out Cybertruck sales, instead lumping them together in the ‘Other’ category with the Model S and Model X, it is believed Tesla sold around 5,000 Cybertrucks in Q2 2025. Tesla has an installed production capacity of 250,000 Cybertrucks per year, well above what is currently being sold.

However, Tesla appears to be targeting buyers who are less price-sensitive and more interested in an all-inclusive ownership experience.
