Tesla is expanding its Supercharger ecosystem beyond its own network, announcing that businesses can now purchase and install Tesla Superchargers directly at their properties. The new program, called Supercharger for Business, allows companies to own the hardware while Tesla manages the operations, maintenance, and customer support.
Under the program, which is open in all countries where Tesla currently has their own Superchargers, businesses can buy a minimum of four V3 or V4 Supercharger posts and install them at their location. Tesla provides a full-service package covering network operations, preventative maintenance, and 24/7 driver support.
The company is guaranteeing 97% uptime, matching the reliability standards of its own global network, which currently exceeds 70,000 Superchargers worldwide.

What sets this program apart is Tesla’s vertical integration. The same technology powering its proprietary network—hardware, software, live availability monitoring, and over-the-air (OTA) updates—will be included in business-owned units. This ensures consistency for drivers, whether they are charging at a Tesla-operated site or a privately owned one.
For business owners, the opportunity goes beyond sustainability. By installing Superchargers, Tesla says companies can attract more visitors and increase time customers spend in their businesses, as EV drivers often shop, dine, or rest while their vehicles charge.
Each site will also be integrated into Tesla’s in-car navigation system, ensuring Tesla drivers are automatically routed to the business when trip planning.
Tesla is also offering pricing flexibility. Hosts will have access to a management portal where they can track utilization, adjust pricing, and monitor financial performance in real time.
Although Superchargers are synonymous with Tesla, the new program is designed for universal access. Thanks to Tesla’s adoption of the North American Charging Standard (NACS) and support for adapters, the white-labeled Superchargers will be compatible with virtually all EVs.

By combining ownership with Tesla’s proven management, Supercharger for Business could accelerate the rollout of reliable charging at shopping centers, hotels, restaurants, and even gas stations.
Interested business owners can visit Tesla’s website to learn more and contact the company to begin the process of purchasing your own Superchargers.
