Tesla Opens New Superchargers in Rivière-du-Loup and Parry Sound [Quebec & Ontario]

Tesla drivers traveling through eastern Quebec and along Ontario’s Highway 400 corridor now have two more fast-charging options, with new Supercharger stations going live in Rivière-du-Loup and Parry Sound this week.

Rivière-du-Loup Supercharger

Rivière-du-Loup’s new Supercharger brings a major upgrade to a key location connecting Quebec City, Bas-Saint-Laurent, and the Maritimes. The brand-new site at 311 Boulevard de l’Hôtel-de-Ville features 20 (although 19 are only listed on Tesla’s navigation and website) V4 stalls delivering up to 325 kW.

It sits just 200 metres from the existing 8-stall V2 station, which has served high traffic for years but often reaches capacity — especially during peak vacation periods. Pricing is set at $0.28/kWh at all times during the day.

Parry Sound Supercharger

The second activation this week is in Parry Sound, Ontario, providing an important stop for drivers headed north toward cottage country, Sudbury, and Lake Superior.

Located on Joseph Street just off Highway 400, this station includes 8 V3 stalls capable of charging at up to 250 kW. Pricing here is $0.41/kWh, also without time-of-day pricing.
