Tesla has taken another major step in its long-anticipated India expansion with the opening of the country’s first fully integrated “all-in-one” Tesla Centre in Gurugram, Haryana.
Located at Orchid Business Park in Sector 48, the new facility represents Tesla’s most comprehensive physical presence in India to date, combining sales, vehicle delivery, after-sales service, and charging infrastructure under one roof. While the company previously launched experience centres in Mumbai and Delhi, those sites primarily focused on vehicle display and customer engagement. Gurugram is the first to offer the full end-to-end ownership experience.
The centre was officially inaugurated on Thursday by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who used the occasion to signal the state’s ambitions of becoming Tesla’s manufacturing base in India.
“This centre does not only mark Tesla’s entry into Gurugram but also establishes Haryana as a major hub for global automobile and technology companies,” Saini said, adding that he is optimistic Tesla will eventually set up its first Indian electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant in the state.
The Gurugram facility is designed to support the rapidly growing interest in EVs across northern India. Customers will be able to explore Tesla’s technology, book and take delivery of vehicles, access after-sales service, and charge their cars using on-site V4 Superchargers.
Tesla also has the Optimus Gen 2 humanoid robot. Similar Optimus displays have also been set up at Tesla’s Delhi and Mumbai locations.
Charging infrastructure remains a critical part of Tesla’s India strategy. With Gurugram joining Mumbai and Delhi, Tesla will soon operate four Supercharger stations across the country, including an upcoming site at One Horizon in Gurugram. Once fully operational, Tesla’s Indian network will include 16 Superchargers and 10 destination chargers, providing coverage across key urban corridors.
