Tesla is offering Canadian buyers a limited-time incentive to help boost sales of the Model 3. Anyone who purchases and takes delivery of a new Model 3 in Canada by June 30, 2025 will receive one year of free Supercharging.
Add in a referral link, and you can also get three months of Full-Self Driving (FSD), giving Canadians a rare perk in what has been a tough 2025.
It is no secret that Tesla has been struggling to sell cars in Canada for most of the year due to a perfect storm of different issues. Not only has the increased political activities of CEO Elon Musk contributed to a drop in brand popularity in Canada, but it has also led to most provinces excluding Tesla from their rebate programs.
Adding to Tesla’s problems in Canada was the end of the federal rebate program, along with substantially higher prices due to the ongoing tariff situation between Canada and the US, which has pushed prices some 22% higher.
All of this combined to result in a precipitous drop in sales in recent months, not only for Tesla, but for the general zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) market in general.
Now Tesla is offering an incentive to help boost sales of the Model 3. According to the details of the offer, it is available on Model 3 vehicles in existing inventory. This is important to note because that means it applies to vehicles with pre-tariff pricing, or to vehicles that were imported into Canada before the tariffs took effect in late April.
This means you can also get the offer on the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD), which is no longer offered on the Canadian configurator.
Based on a review of existing inventory in our neck of the woods (Vancouver), you can get a new Model 3 RWD starting at $59,990, while the Long Range All-Wheel Drive (AWD) starts at around $70,000 (demos at around $67,000), compared to $79,990 for a tariff Model 3. Performance Model 3 demo units are also available for under $80,000, $10,000 less than tariff pricing.
