Some Tesla shareholders will get to tour Giga Texas with the company boss Elon Musk and chief designer Franz von Holzhausen, as shared by the automaker on its website and X (formerly Twitter). The tour will take place a day before the Annual Shareholder Meeting. Winners will also get automatic seats at the meeting.
Tesla will welcome a small group of its investors to tour its manufacturing facility ahead of its Annual Shareholders’ meeting this year. Shareholders who vote their shares and submit evidence of share ownership and voting will enter a draw where the lucky winners will emerge. Fifteen voters will be randomly selected to see Giga Tesla in the company of Musk, Holzhausen, and other top company executives.
Tesla says shareholders are not required to vote for or against any proposal to qualify for the draw. In fact, shareholders should not submit evidence of how they voted. However, they must have owned shares on or before the close of business on April 15, 2024. Voters have until June 7th to submit evidence through this link.
Winners will be reserved seats at the June 13th shareholders’ meeting.
Major proposals up for voting include Musk’s highly contested compensation package, the reelection of directors Kimbal Musk and James Murdoch, and relocating the company’s state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas.
