Tesla offering free Supercharging in Europe for Q2 deliveries

Tesla has launched a new promotions in several European countries, offering new car buyers as many as 15,000 miles or 20,000 kilometers of free Supercharging credits.

The promotion was first announced by the official Tesla United Kingdom (UK) account on X, who announced that buyers will get 15,000 miles (24,140km) of free Supercharging if they take delivery of either a custom ordered Tesla Model S, Model 3, Model X, or Model Y, or a vehicle from existing inventory, before July 1, 2024.

As with all promotions, there are further terms and conditions, one of which gives some leeway on the June 30th deadline. Tesla adds that if “delivery is postponed due to circumstances within Tesla’s control, you still may be entitled to the benefit by taking delivery on the first available date.”

This free Supercharging credit offer is not only available in the UK. Tesla’s website in other European countries show a similar promotion, with varying amounts of credits. For example, buyers in Spain and France can receive 20,000km (12,427 mi), while those in Belgium receive 10,000km (6,213 mi). Meanwhile, those in Norway and Sweden each get 5,000km (3,107 mi). This isn’t the first time this year that Tesla has offered free Supercharging credits in an attempt to boost sales. In March Tesla was giving 8,000km or 5,000 mi when customers traded in a vehicle. The offer was later doubled to 10,000 miles in the US, but not doubled in Canada.
