Tesla has quietly introduced a new accessory in its online store, but in an unusual twist it is currently available only in Canada. While Tesla frequently launches new accessories in the United States first, this appears to be one of the rare cases where Canadian owners are getting access to a product before our American counterparts.
The new accessory is a Model 3/Y 4-in-1 USB-C Hub that expands charging options inside the vehicle’s center console, allowing owners to power multiple devices at once using a single USB-C port.
The accessory is priced at C$120 and is designed specifically to work with Model 3 vehicles produced in 2024 and newer, as well as Model Y vehicles produced in 2025 and later. These newer vehicles feature updated interiors and revised center console designs compared to earlier versions.

As the name suggests, the accessory converts one USB-C port inside the center console into four separate USB-C ports, allowing multiple passengers to charge devices simultaneously. As you can see from the photos below, the hub is designed to fit snugly within the console to maintain a clean, integrated appearance without cords clogging up the center console.

While the accessory offers a clean factory look, the price appears to have the built-in “Tesla tax.” At C$120, the official Tesla-branded hub costs significantly more than third-party USB hubs designed for the same purpose. Similar accessories are commonly available online for less than C$20, like this Acer 4-port USB hub for just C$13.99 on Amazon.
While these options may lack Tesla branding or the exact integrated fit of the official accessory, they deliver similar functionality at a much lower cost.
Whether the hub eventually becomes available in the U.S. or other markets remains to be seen, but for now Canadian Model 3 and Model Y owners have exclusive access to Tesla’s latest accessory—even if some may opt for a cheaper third-party alternative.
