Tesla is set to release Actual Smart Summon with FSD 12.5.x

Elon Musk provided some important information regarding the upcoming rollout of Actual Smart Summon via a post on X.

The highly anticipated feature was left off the FSD 12.5 update, which left many asking if it was coming at all.

The Tesla CEO confirmed that the Actual Smart Summon feature is a separate code and is coming. In fact, the feature is being bundled with 12.5.x and will be released next month.

For those who are unaware, Tesla’s Actual Smart Summon can smoothly unpark your Tesla, navigate parking lots, and pick up passengers without needing someone in the driver’s seat. Many believe that Actual Smart Summon will be the precursor to Tesla Robitaxi becoming a reality.

FSD 12.5 has impressed both new and experienced testers. Even Tesla haters have said that this latest update shows that Tesla is making a sizable and notable step forward in its driver-assist system. Now we wait for FSD 12.5.x and see how Actual Smart Summon performs in the real world.
