Tesla Expands “Supercharger for Business” Program to Seven New European and Middle Eastern Countries

Tesla is taking another major step in globalizing its charging ecosystem, expanding its Supercharger for Business program to several new markets across Europe and, for the first time, the Middle East.

According to a post from the official Tesla Charging account on X, the expanded program now includes France, Italy, Spain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Jordan, giving businesses in these regions the ability to purchase and host their own Tesla Superchargers.

The expansion follows the program’s original launch in September, when Tesla introduced the initiative as a way for commercial property owners to deploy reliable, high-performance charging infrastructure without building a network from scratch.

While business-owned chargers carry Tesla hardware and software, the company handles all the operations behind the scenes, including uptime, preventative maintenance, driver support, and software updates.

How The Program Works

Under the Supercharger for Business model, participating companies can buy a minimum of four V3 or V4 Supercharger posts and install them at their location. Tesla then manages the rest—monitoring performance, pushing OTA improvements, and providing 24/7 support to drivers.

Tesla guarantees 97% uptime, matching the reliability of its own 70,000-stall global Supercharger network. Because businesses use the same vertically integrated hardware and software as Tesla-owned sites, drivers get the exact same experience: live availability, seamless payments, and automatic routing through the in-car navigation system.

Each site also appears in Tesla’s trip planner, which ensures that drivers—many of whom stop to shop, dine, or rest—are guided directly to the business hosting the chargers. Tesla emphasizes that this advantage can meaningfully increase customer foot traffic and time spent on-site.

Why Businesses Are Embracing The Model

Beyond sustainability goals, the appeal of Tesla’s new program is simple: reliable charging attracts customers. EV drivers often spend 20–40 minutes at nearby businesses, and Tesla’s management portal allows hosts to set pricing, monitor usage, and track revenue in real time. Hotels, shopping centers, gas stations, and restaurants have already shown strong early interest.

With today’s expansion, Tesla is opening the door for Europe and the Middle East to accelerate their charging build-out using Tesla’s proven technology—without waiting for government or utility deployments. Interested businesses in the newly added regions can now visit Tesla’s local websites to begin the process of installing their own Superchargers.
