Tesla Diner Nears Opening: Here’s What to Expect

The highly anticipated Tesla Diner in Hollywood is entering its final phase of preparations before opening its doors to the public. Recent on-site activity indicates that the project is on the verge of completion, and its officially opening could be just days away.

The venue will feature a retro 1950s-inspired design, complete with 24/7 service, large outdoor screens for entertainment, and, of course, a robust charging hub for Tesla owners.

A Sneak Peek at the Menu

While Tesla has remained tight-lipped about the official food offerings, we’re now getting an early look at what’s in store. According to Not A Tesla App, a selection of classic diner staples are currently being taste-tested by staff. Dishes spotted include hot wings, sandwiches served with salad or coleslaw, and traditional favourites like burgers and hot dogs. Milkshakes and fries are expected to be included on the menu.

The menu appears to be focused on quick, affordable meals, likely due to the fact that many of the patrons will either need to get back to their cars quickly while plugged into one of the 80 V4 Supercharger posts at the site, or their order will need to be delivered to their vehicles before their car is fully charged.

If you opt to stay in your vehicle, you will be able to order food from your in-car display, showcasing yet again the advantages of Tesla’s vertical integration. After placing your order, it will be delivered to your vehicle in a Cybertruck-shaped takeout box, as seen in the image below by @tesla_lightning_.

While you wait for your food, you will also be able to stream audio to your car’s speakers from the movies playing on the giant 45-foot LED screens.

Opening Timeline

While Tesla has not officially announced an opening date, the ‘Tesla Diner’ now appears in the mobile app, suggesting its debut could only be days away.
