Tesla App Code Reveals Gamified Loyalty Program and New FSD Stats Dashboard

mobile app

Tesla appears to be preparing a major upgrade to its mobile experience, with newly uncovered code pointing to an opt-in loyalty program complete with gamified rewards, milestone tracking, and a built-in redemption catalog.

A de-compile of Tesla App version 4.54.0 by Tesla App Updates on X reveals multiple new pieces of code tied to a structured loyalty system. The findings suggest Tesla is moving far beyond its previous referral-only perks and toward a fully integrated, interactive rewards platform embedded directly within the app.

Opt-In Enrollment and Tiered Progress

The new code references endpoints such as "OWNERSHIP_LOYALTY_ENROLL" and "OWNERSHIP_LOYALTY_USER_ENROLLMENT_STATUS", suggesting that participation will be voluntary and owners will likely need to actively join the program rather than being enrolled automatically.

Perhaps the most intriguing addition is "OWNERSHIP_LOYALTY_USER_PROGRESS", which strongly hints at milestone tracking and tiered achievement levels. Owners could potentially earn points or status upgrades by hitting Supercharging milestones, logging miles with Full Self-Driving (FSD), or referring new customers.

This suggests a system built around measurable engagement, turning everyday ownership into a challenge-based experience.

In-App Rewards Catalog

The presence of "OWNERSHIP_LOYALTY_CLAIM_REWARD" and "OWNERSHIP_LOYALTY_USER_REWARDS" endpoints points to something even bigger: a digital storefront.

Instead of receiving generic credits, owners may soon be able to browse a dedicated in-app catalog and redeem earned loyalty points for specific products, software upgrades, accessories, or services. The "OWNERSHIP_LOYALTY_ASSETS" endpoint indicates the app will pull custom visuals—potentially including digital badges, animations, or tier graphics—to make the experience feel dynamic and engaging.

FSD Becomes Trackable—and Shareable

The update doesn’t stop there. The same app build references a new FSD statistics dashboard under the label FSDStatsScreen.

The new page will track total miles versus Full Self-Driving (FSD) miles, allowing owners to see a percentage breakdown showing how often FSD is active. This is the same information that has been available in your vehicle with FSD v14, but now it will also be available in the app. (via NotATeslaApp)

Even more interesting is fsd_stats_driving_since_version, which indicates Tesla will track autonomous miles across specific software versions, suggesting owners could potentially see how usage increases with newer builds compared to previous versions.

Finally, fsd_stats_share hints at built-in social sharing. Tesla appears to be making it easier than ever for owners to generate shareable graphics showcasing their FSD usage—complete with model-specific visuals—perfect for posting on X and other platforms.

A More Engaging Ownership Experience

If these features roll out as expected, Tesla ownership could soon feel more interactive than ever. By combining milestone-based rewards with transparent FSD metrics and social sharing, Tesla is effectively turning vehicle ownership into a measurable, gamified ecosystem.
