Rivian is taking its upcoming R2 on the road, offering fans and reservation holders in cities across North America a chance to see the vehicle up close. The R2 will be making two stops in Canada, first in Vancouver from September 2-7, 2024, and then to Toronto from February 14-23, 2025.

The announcement was made through Rivian’s Instagram account on Tuesday, where they shared a list of cities across North America that the R2 will be visiting over the next few months. This tour is part of Rivian’s broader strategy to engage directly with customers and enthusiasts, building excitement ahead of the vehicle’s official launch.

In Vancouver, the R2 will be displayed at the Rivian Service Center located at 13551 Commerce Pkwy #120 in Richmond, BC.

After the Vancouver stop, the R2 will visit nine cities in the US, before finally making its way to Toronto, where it will be showcased at the Canadian International Auto Show from February 14-23, 2025.

Outside of Canada, the Rivian R2 will also visit several U.S. cities, including Pasadena, San Francisco, Portland, Nashville, New York City, Boston, Austin, Laguna, Los Angeles, Detroit, and Chicago.

While the announcement only included mention of the R2, Rivian could surprise fans at some of these locations by also bringing along the R3 and R3X. You can read more about all three vehicles here.
