Polestar announced yet another strong quarter of retail sales in Q3 2025. The Swedish automaker estimates that its retail sales will be 14,192 vehicles in Q3 alone. This represents a 13% year-over-year growth rate from 2024.
For the entirety of 2025, the automaker is also up across the board. Per the sales report, Polestar has sold 44,482 vehicles this calendar year. This is a 36% increase in year-over-year sales for Q1-Q3.
Exact results for Q3 will be released during the company’s quarterly analyst conference call, which is scheduled for November 12, 2025.
The news is positive from Polestar, with four vehicles currently in the lineup and more on the way. The automaker is positioning itself for success in its 28 global markets, which span North America, Europe, and Asia.
Here in Canada, sales continue to be strong with the Polestar 2, Polestar 3, and Polestar 4 selling well across Ontario, BC and Quebec. However, the launch of the Polestar 5 remains uncertain, with many hoping the new GT will make its debut in Canada in 2026. Polestar has also not indicated if the Polestar 6 or Polestar 7 will be launched in Canada as part of its initial launch. Given the current SUV market in Canada, especially in the compact SUV space, the Polestar 7 might be a homerun in this market.
