Polestar has completed its first customer deliveries of the Polestar 4 SUV coupe to European customers.
The initial deliveries were made to customers in Germany, Norway, and Sweden, with more Polestar 4s due to arrive in the coming weeks in other European markets. The company now has three models on the road in Europe: the Polestar 2, Polestar 3, and now the Polestar 4.
CEO of Polestar, Thomas Ingenlath, had this to say about the significant milestone:
With Polestar 3 on the road since summer, this is the next important milestone for us in 2024 as we make our first European deliveries of Polestar 4 and give our customers even more choice. With three models, Polestar is positioning itself as the design-led premium luxury electric car brand in the global EV market.
The Polestar 4 is currently in two major markets, with Europe and China already receiving vehicles. For those in North America and Australia, Polestar is targeting the start of deliveries in quarter four of 2024.
Although the Polestar 4 will roll out slower than other models, production will quickly increase over the rest of 2024 and into 2025. The big driver is the company’s South Korean production facility, which will come online in 2025 and focus on delivering Polestar 4s to the global market.
