Recent documents submitted to the City of Vancouver, Washington reveal Tesla is planning to open a massive new Service Center in the state.
Located just a few minutes from the Washington State and Portland border, the 32,500 square foot Service Center is being proposed on a 3.1 acre parcel at 6916 and 6924 N.W. Fourth Plain Blvd.
Without specifically naming Tesla, the documents say the building will be used for the “sale, service, maintenance, charging, repair, delivery and storage of new and pre-owned electric automobiles, energy products, and related parts and accessories.” (via The Columbian)
If that wasn’t a big enough hint, the architectural drawings show Tesla vehicles at the front and four Superchargers and what appears to be 10 Destination chargers at the rear and side of the building.
A preliminary hearing for the project is scheduled for April 15, 2021 at 9:00am. If approved it will be the third Tesla location in the region, adding to a Tesla showroom and a Service Center in neighbouring Portland.
