Lucid is turning up the discounts this May with a new round of aggressive incentives designed to boost sales of its luxury Air sedan. Shoppers in both Canada and the United States can take advantage of limited-time discounts—though eligibility and savings vary significantly between markets.
Here’s a breakdown of the current offers.
Canadian Offers: Up to $12,600 in Savings
Canadian customers can save thousands when purchasing or leasing a model year (MY) 2024 or 2025 Lucid Air, especially if the vehicle is available on-site at a Lucid Studio at the time of order.
- On-Site Vehicle Bonus: Receive up to C$2,600 on MY2025 vehicles or C$7,500 on MY2024 inventory, available only for on-site models. Orders must be completed and delivery taken by May 31, 2025.
- Conquest Offer: Save C$3,000 if you own or lease a qualifying internal combustion engine (ICE) or hybrid vehicle from a competing luxury brand, or a Tesla. Importantly, no trade-in is required.
- Tesla Conquest Bonus: Get an additional C$2,000 if you currently own or lease a Tesla. This stacks on top of the standard Conquest Offer, potentially bringing total conquest savings to C$5,000.
Altogether, eligible Canadian buyers could save up to $12,600 CAD this month, depending on inventory availability and vehicle ownership.
U.S. Offers: Up to $22,500 in Discounts
The discounts are even bigger in the United States, where Lucid is offering combined incentives, primarily focused on inventory units and lease agreements. (via InsideEVs)
- Lucid Air Touring: Qualify for up to US$22,500 in total discounts when leasing a 2025 Touring model. This includes:
- US$10,000 Air Credit
- US$7,500 federal tax credit
- US$4,000 Tesla trade-in bonus
- US$1,000 Lucid store pick-up bonus
- Lucid Air Pure: The entry-level Pure trim offers up to US$20,000 in savings for Tesla owners, or US$18,000 for owners of other ICE or hybrid vehicles.
- Lucid Air Grand Touring: Buyers can still save up to US$17,500 when trading in a Tesla, although this trim receives the smallest discount among the eligible models.
The Air Sapphire, Lucid’s 1,234-hp flagship sedan, is excluded from all promotional discounts.
Discounts and Incentives Driving Lucid’s Growth
Lucid is coming off a strong Q1 2025, having delivered over 3,100 vehicles—its fifth consecutive quarterly delivery record. With the launch of the Gravity SUV, Lucid is expecting to double its production in 2025, aiming to produce up to 20,000 vehicles this year. Lucid produced 9.024 vehicles in 2024.
Lucid is also planning to launch a more affordable midsize model in late 2026, aiming to attract a larger market segment.
