Lucid Motors has announced today that its limited run Air Dream Edition has sold out and reservations are now closed.
Reservations for the Dream Edition opened in early September 2020 when the company officially unveiled their first electric vehicle (EV). With a fully refundable $9,800 CAD ($7,500 USD) deposit, customers could put their names down for the most expensive EV in the Air lineup.
It is unclear at this time how many Dream Edition EVs were available to preorder. In an update last month where they announced the delay of the first deliveries to later this year, Lucid also announced they had received more than 7,500 reservations.
The information did not break down the number of reservations by vehicle.
Customers still interested in the Dream Edition can place a reservation for the Air Grand Touring variant, and opt to be put on a waitlist if there are any cancellations.

Expected to be priced at more than $160,000 USD, the Dream Edition will come with a 113kWh battery pack that Lucid claims will provide over 500 miles (804km) on a single charge.
