Last month Tesla published several job postings, looking for sales and service advisors, service technicians, and more, hinting at a second BC Tesla location opening soon. Based on building plans shared with us by Drive Tesla reader Jamie W. of Langley, we can now confirm that new location will be the Jonker Nissan dealership at 19505 Langley Bypass.
With the building being over 15,000 square feet in size, Tesla will have plenty of space for their showroom at the front of building, including a customer lounge area.
At the rear of the building, the large service area will house 2 “quick service bays” equipped with vehicle lifts, along with an additional 8 vehicle lifts in regular service bays.
No Superchargers are being added, but the site will be receiving both wall and post mounted Tesla Destination Chargers, much like what was recently installed at the new Tesla location in Saskatoon.
The new Service Center will be located in a major retail area and situated among many other auto dealerships, including Honda, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Dodge, Ford, Mazda, and more.
This news follows our story earlier this morning that Tesla was opening a new delivery center in Surrey, located just behind the new Service Center.
No timeline has been given for when the work will begin or when the new Sales & Service Center will officially open, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
First look at the new delivery center in Surrey, BC. Located just behind the Tesla Sales & Service Center coming soon. Thanks to Jamie W. for sending us these pictures https://t.co/q2cXsaLp7L pic.twitter.com/4sNCpIuzFc
