Lucid is enhancing the 2026 Lucid Air lineup with new features, including access to Tesla’s expansive Supercharger network and an improved range for select trims. However, this new convenience comes with two notable caveats—charging speeds on Tesla Superchargers will be far slower than what Lucid owners are accustomed to, and Air pricing is also getting an increase.
Tesla Supercharger Access – But at Only 50 kW
Starting July 31, 2025, all Lucid Air owners, regardless of model year, will be able to use Tesla Superchargers across North America. Through a Lucid-approved CCS-to-NACS adapter priced at US$220 (no Canadian pricing was disclosed), drivers can connect to over 23,500 Supercharger stalls.

While this dramatically increases charging options, the Air’s charging speed on these stations will be capped at 50 kW—a fraction of its 350 kW peak on high-voltage DC fast chargers. In real-world terms, this translates to approximately 321 km (200 miles) of range per hour of charging, making Tesla’s network more of a backup solution than a primary fast-charging option.
Lucid owners can initiate and pay for Supercharger sessions through the Lucid app, which integrates with the Lucid Wallet for seamless billing.
Increased Range
For 2026, Lucid continues to dominate the EV range race. The Lucid Air Touring sees a 6% range improvement, now offering an EPA-estimated 431 miles (693 km) on a full charge, thanks to higher-density battery cells. The Air Grand Touring maintains its class-leading 512-mile (824 km) rating, making it a top choice for long-distance driving.
Additional 2026 updates include a quieter, upgraded AC compressor for improved cooling and reduced cabin noise, as well as a new 19-inch Aeronaut wheel option in Platinum and Stealth finishes. All models now come with a mobile charging kit that allows up to 64 km (40 miles) of range per hour using a 240-volt outlet.
Price Increases Across the Lineup
Lucid’s latest enhancements come with a price bump for both the Canadian and U.S. markets:
- Lucid Air Pure: $99,900 CAD (+C$3,100)
- Lucid Air Touring: $112,800 CAD (+C $3,500)
- Lucid Air Grand Touring: $161,200 CAD (+$$8,900)
U.S. pricing also gets an increase, now starting at US$70,900 (+US$1,000) for the Pure, US$79,900 (+US$1,000) for the Touring, and US$114,900 (+US$4,000) for the Grand Touring.
Luxury Features and Upgrades
The Grand Touring trim now includes 20-way power front seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions as standard, while the entry-level Pure trim gains a new rear center-console display and DreamDrive Premium driver-assistance features.
Lucid’s DreamDrive Pro system will also receive an over-the-air (OTA) update introducing hands-free highway driving and lane-change assist, bringing it closer to competing Level 2 driver-assistance technologies.
