Last week Mattel began shipping the preorders for the smaller 1:64 scale Hot Wheels RC Cybertrucks, a month after they mysteriously began appearing on the shelves of Target stores across the United States.
Today Mattel has begun notifying customers with preorders for the larger 1:10 scale RC Cybertrucks to also expect to receive them soon. In an email sent around 12:00pm PST, Mattel is asking customers to ensure their billing and shipping information is up to date, giving them a deadline of one week to let them know of any changes.
Along with the information update request, Mattel also included a link to a new “Tips & Tricks” video to get you up to speed on how to get your new Cybertruck ready for action once it arrives.
To help protect the front bumper, a plastic bumper guard is included and attached separately, making sure you don’t accidentally damage it while learning the controls.
The video also goes over the controls, explaining that the Cybertruck will come with Chill Mode set as default. By pressing the Function key on the controller, you can switch to Insane Mode for increased acceleration.
There is a lot of information covered in the video, but we’re also left with a hint that there are more surprises in the instruction manual.
