Tesla has advertised a lot of vacancies as it aims to reach volume production with the electric Semi.
New workers would soon be on-boarded at Tesla’s Nevada Giga Factory. They will be needed to move Semi’s production from 70 per year at the current rate to a mass-market scale.
The company announced it was expanding the factory at the beginning of the year. While that would suggest it was preparing for the expansion of its workforce, there has been no sign of such construction yet. However, Tesla has employed a new manufacturing leader who would oversee the factory’s expansion.
The open roles associated with the Semi include Sr. Architect, Semi; Structural Modeling Lead, Semi; Factory Design Engineering Leader, Semi; Lead Plumbing Engineer, Semi; BIM Manager and Virtual Design Coordinator, Semi; Staff Iot Network Engineer, Infrastructure Network Engineering; Electrical Construction Project Management, Infrastructure Programs – Semi; CAE & CFD Thermal Engineer, Battery Engineering, Semi; CAE Analysis Engineer, Structures & Durability, Semi; and Mechanical Design Engineer, Structural Design, Semi.
