Tesla has started construction of a new Supercharger in Woodbridge, in the city of Vaughan, Ontario.
We first told you about the Vaughan Supercharger back in June when we uncovered plans submitted to the city for a 16 stall station in front of Fortinos grocery store on Ansley Grove Road (3940 Hwy 7). The project was originally slated to be completed in late 2022, but concerns around possible interference with a right-of-way stalled the project for several months.
It looks like all of the concerns have been address as according to photos shared with us by Chansoo Byeon, crews have just started digging up the ground for the 16 Superchargers over the weekend.

The Vaughan Supercharger is ideally located along Ontario Highway 7 with close proximity to Highways 400 and 407 ETR. It is also just 12 minutes (7km) away from the Concord Supercharger, which features 20 V2 (150kW) stalls.
According to Tesla’s map the Vaughan Supercharger is scheduled to open in Q1 2024.
